Jacob Korenblum

In the topic of business digital strategy, Jacob Korenblum is widely regarded as a leading authority figure. Over the course of more than 15 years, he has been in charge of overseeing the conception and introduction of digital solutions to real-world problems in a variety of markets spanning Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. At the beginning of his professional life, Korenblum has been particularly concerned with issues of social justice and international relief initiatives. After completing his undergraduate education, Korenblum began working for the Education Development Center in Washington, D.C., a charitable organization that operates on a global scale. EDC provides assistance in the development of solutions that enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in 80 different countries through enhancing employment possibilities, educational programs, and healthcare services.

After a short period of time, Jacob Korenblum worked his way up the corporate ladder at EDC, eventually becoming the director of monitoring and evaluation as well as communications for a project located in the Middle East. He spent a number of years in the Middle East, where he both lived and worked.

After completing his work with EDC, Jacob decided to pursue a career with the renowned organization OXFAM when they offered him a place there. This multinational nonprofit organization supports more than 25 million people every year by designing initiatives to enhance gender equality, economic opportunity, and climate action on a global scale. Throughout the years 2008 and 2010, Korenblum traveled to economically disadvantaged regions like Malawi, India, Haiti, and Kenya in order to assist with crucial economic efforts. During this time period, he held the position of team leader for a number of different microenterprise evaluation projects and mobile technology initiatives.
